Farmers have right to protest but can’t block roads indefinitely, says Supreme Court

The Supreme Court on Thursday said farmers have a right to protest against the three new farm laws even when their validity is under challenge before the apex court but was firm in its view that no one could be permitted to block roads indefinitely, impeding the right of citizens to commute without hindrance.
